About

Built by a facility services company, for the people who keep buildings running.

Where Carrybeam comes from

Beale's is a facility services company based in Hingham, Massachusetts. Our crews clean, maintain, engineer and inspect medical office buildings and commercial properties around Boston.

As a service provider, we've received work orders by email and text from many different facility work order systems over the years. The experience was inconsistent and clunky. And when we talked with our customers, property managers and tenants alike, we heard the same frustrations.

So when a customer asked us to set up a work order system for a new building, we decided to reimagine the experience and build our own. That's how Carrybeam was born.

What we're building

Much of today's work order software was built for the finance team, around the accounting for each property, and then loaded with features. It works for the books. It's heavy for everyone else.

We're building a world-class experience for the property manager who wants tenants to stay happy, gets ahead of problems before tenants notice, and responds fast and graciously when something goes wrong.

Why "Carrybeam"

Builders call the beam over every doorway a lintel, or a carrying beam. It quietly carries the load so the opening stays clear. That's the job we want Carrybeam to do for every building it runs in.

Its own product

Carrybeam is its own product. Any facility team can use it, including our competitors. We'd rather the whole industry closed jobs with proof.

Build it with us.
